What, how, and why?
Capital Queer Crawl is a community project celebrating 2SLGBTQIA+-owned and safe spaces across Ottawa-Gatineau. It’s part art project, part walking tour, part excuse to get out of the house and into some *fabulous* spaces.
Each participating spot has a free illustrated postcard of their building. You stop by, say hi, and collect it. Then head to the next one. It’s like Pokémon, but gayer, with better vibes.
Queer spaces deserve to be seen, visited, celebrated, and sometimes immortalized in illustrated cardboard. It’s a way to spotlight the community, support local businesses, and get folks exploring during Pride and beyond!
And it all starts here!

This one-man show of a project is definitely a self-inflicted undertaking.
But one thing I LOVE is all the love you get from people like you!
To me, this print is symbolic of all the work that has been put into making the Capital Queer Crawl happen, and I am SUPER THRILLED to be sharing it with you!
There’s so many ways you can show your support, this print is but another way you can put YOUR print on this project.
Amazing partnerships have allowed this project to flourish.
